OUR MAIN GOAL

Thousands refugees are drowning while trying to cross Mediterranean. These numbers could be way smaller if someone would see them in time and and provide help or at least inform other vessels in area. Even just one extra pair of eyes on the sea can save many lives.

Captains & Sailors
We are competent captains and yachtmasters with years of experience, well trained in maritime rescue. We also train new sailors as helpers and help them gain all the neccessary knowledge – so if u feel u want to join our crew, dont hesitate to write us.

Volunteer activists
During sea actions we work on the coast together with other NGOs, we help refugees in landing on the shore, provide first aid, protect them against hypothermia, help them feel safe and look after them, etc. During other projets we often work in coordination and field teams.

We aim to give proper tasks to everyone – to do what we are best at. That way we can work smoothly and with the best results.

Knowledge and experience allow us to help those in need. We know how to sail in harsh conditions. We know how to safe a life at sea. Simply, we are professionals so, why are we staying home? We are a group of sailing enthusiasts who have traversed the seas for many years. Thousands of sailed miles on various waters of the world – on small yachts, sea cruisers, and tall ships – have given us the experience and knowledge. Some of us are Tall Ship’s Captains, others are Yachtmasters and Lifeguards. And last but not least we can not do our job without volunteers which represent different kinds of professions. We have a special place also for you!

Since we decided to create your organization, your main focus is on Mediterranean. As small boats’ owners we help mainly in patrols, assecuration, coordination and supervision but sometimes also as main vessels in smaller rescue actions. We also provide first help and all sorts of physical and mental care after taking people out from the water/pontoon. We work in cooperation with Maritime Search and Rescue and with UNHCR and many local NGOs.
